Easy, pick the option up.
With those stats, why not move him to the top of the lineup.
I think hes an easy lock. The clutch factor speaks for itself
It makes sense to pick up the option. If he flops, not a big investment. If he continues to play well he's got value in the lineup or possibly as a trade piece during the year if they need ABs for guys like Mayo/Kjerstad. On a related note, my guess is they will sign a guy like Randal Grichuk, Tommy Pham or Jurickson Profar to give them a RH option in the outfield, especially if Santander leaves. Guys like that have experience and will only be short term investments, and offer a way to give regular ABs to guys like Kjerstad.
