Honestly, flame me if you want but this isnt the right move. Is it and exiting move? Yes is it a move I want to thank the panthers for? Yes. BUT, THE OFFENSE ISNT THE PROBLEM. We need to focus our efforts on setting the most underperforming defense straight. Hamilton, smith, Oweh, Humphrey , Van Noy, WIlliams, that dosent sound like a bottom 4 pass defense.

The defense is still bad. Idc what else you have to say. There is literally nothing except coaching and players on defense to blame. We have the worst passing defense in the league, and yes, our run defense is good, but stuff needs to be fixed halfway through the season. Adding a WR, EDC is hoping we score enough points so that it doesn't matter how many points the defense gives up.

I like Johnson as a player and is a upgrade #2 for sure. I hate that they take to long to address issues that are clearly glaring.
Look, I know they need help at pass rush and safety more than receiver. But, they swapped a Ravens 5th for a Panthers 6th, essentially moving bake a few picks in the draft while Carolina pays most of his salary. He’s a clear improvement overall for very little capital
