  1. Man, as long as everyone focuses solely on hitting home runs, they'll never clinch a World Series title. The manager has allowed them to do whatever they please, abandoning the small ball strategy. It's as if the entire team is operating on autopilot. I didn't see the manager contesting strikes like Joe Torre and Joe Girardi used to. Plus, I didn’t see anyone bunting or trying for base hits. Everyone is swinging for their personal greatness. Even if they lose, they would have reached at least 6 or 7 games. The dodgers, on the other hand, played the classic 1900’s 2000’s yankees world series strategy.

  11. The Yankees just fell short. They should have won game 1 and game 5. The Dodgers were fortunate to have the opportunity to comeback which they came back to win. But the Dodgers get the credit because they went into the 2024 World Series and left the series with the World Series trophy.

  13. They essentially lost both Cole games because the defense was atrocious. Soto basically lost Game 1 and Game 5 Judge and Volpe. Cole should’ve run to first, but I thought Rizzo had a shot if he would’ve hustled.

  15. I’m no Dodger fan, but I have to admit, it brings a smile to my face knowing that those two mouthbreathing fans from Game 4 got to cry themselves to sleep last night. Eat a Costco sized bag o’ dicks, fellas.🖕

  16. The throwing error to 3rd base was a bad throw but, kike Hernandez is not getting enough credit for the slide he made to force it. That was great awareness to slide on the outside like that which made it harder for the shortstop to make the play

  18. I think Wells is a little overlooked as far as his role behind the plate. He's a solid defensive catcher. Fast runner and can hit it out from time to time. He had a great defensive series. Stanton was there when the big guys weren't. This was the anomaly inning of my life. 5 unearned runs in an 18 1/2 minute inning on 3 errors and just shy of 30 pitches. How do explain that? Once that happened, the momentum they had was gone. Ugly loss.

  19. The Marlins were involved: Jazz, Stanton, Berdi was there. The sideline foul ball borderline catch controversy a la Bartman was there: Game 4 fan gets banned for life for ripping ball out of Mookie's glove. The epic one-inning collapse that led to the NE opponent losing a la 2003 Cubs: Game 5, inning 5 meltdown. Eerie.

  26. OMG The Yankees didn't win a World Series !!! What is the world coming to? Screw the Yankees… There are how many other teams in MLB ? I root for whoever the Yankees are playing against – they aren't the only team in the league.
