  1. No player is worth that kind of money. Soto will never single handedly hand the yanks a world series, case in point, this year. Let him go, and sign 3 solid players like, Alonso, bregman, and a solid starter. That right there would be the right move.

  2. Even if you do do all of that, is that still gonna be enough upgrading to be at the level the dodgers are gonna be at by simply getting healthy? The yankees could spend a billion dollars this off-season and they'd still be worse than a healthy dodgers that made literally zero moves.

  3. As much as I admire Rich (following from Japan), I am inclined to think that throwing out more money for superstars is not the priority remedy for the Yankees. This series leaves us a lesson that when money is being spent on both sides, the side that places the greater emphasis on the execution of fundamentals most likely emerges as the victor.

  4. Hey rich you forgot the other n,y team has moremoney than your yanks , typical Yankees fan always dreaming , mets willnot allow Alonso to go to the stankees , Cohen will spite the yanks and sign both

  5. Alonso/Hoskins(can opt out). Robert Jr for LF. Dominguez-CF. Judge back to RF. Jazz-2B. Get 3B, Bregman too expensive. A #1 starter(Burnes?). Cole can opt-out(older than Burns, Snell, Fried and Flaherty). Scott Brosius manager.

  6. That’s the Yankees solution. The Mets solution on the other hand 🖐🏼 resign Alonso & throw the bag 💼 if you may say @ Juan Soto 2️⃣ make him join the Mets 😉⚾️🧢😊

  7. Rich really think the Yankees have a better chance of signing Soto and Alonso than the Mets? How about a startling lineup of Lindor, Soto, Nimo, Vientos and Alonso?

  8. Pass on Soto…..Go after Corbin Burnes,Shane Bieber, and Shore up the bullpen……

    SP1 Burnes
    SP2 Rodon
    SP3 Schmidt
    SP4 Gil
    SP Stroman

    RF Judge
    DH Stanton

  9. Dodgers hit only .206 in the WS. That should tell you the importance of defense. The Yanks should solidify the infield, and pick up a quality starter and add bullpen arms. One move may be let Gleyber go (defensive liability), move Jazz to 2B and obtain a solid 3rd baseman

  10. sign.

    RF. Juan Soto
    3rd. Alex Bregman
    2nd or SS Willie Adames

  11. If you’re on a sports radio show you need to learn how the Ohtani contract actually works. It’s pathetic these hosts keep spewing the same nonsense about the financials.

  12. Why is everyone sleeping on Bellinger? Go get him. You can move him to 1st base. The lineup goes like this next year

    1. Torres
    2. Soto
    3. Judge
    4. Bellinger
    5. Stanton
    6. Chisolm
    7. Volpe
    8. Wells
    9. Dominguez
