Pewter Pulse: HELP IS ON THE WAY For The Bucs!

Scott Reynolds tells Tampa Bay fans that help is on the way this season for the 4-4 Bucs (who might be 4-6 heading into the bye week). Is it a trade at the trade deadline? Is it the return of Mike Evans and Jamel Dean off injured reserve? Or is it something else? Reynolds reveals what kind of help is on the way in a NEW Pewter Pulse video.

  1. Both Atlanta games and the Denver game were also winnable games.I have Absolutely NO faith in this Defense to stop any teams offense going forward!

  2. That kind of help isn’t what we were thinking about. Was hoping for an Edge rusher. Sorry but the Bucs need to be better and it’s not by playing bad teams. Another 9-8 is not going to move the needle.

  3. Does this team really deserve to be in the playoffs if it can't beat playoff caliber teams ? It is like having a "good time" with the easiest girl in town…Is it really something to be proud of ? LOL Honestly, if they are the team to hand KC their first loss and we don't make the playoffs, I would rather take that. It means more because losing in the wild card round at 11-6 (BIG IF) does not mean anything and Todd Bowles will lose another OC and we get more of the Offensive Defense run by our Head Coach. Sounds like Treading Water Year after Year with no legitimate shot at a Super Bowl. Tampa Bay, as of 10/31 is Ranked 4th in Total Team Offense & 30th in Team Defense. If by the End of the season, they are within the Top 5, in Team Offense & the Defense remains in the Bottom third of the league, would Tampa Bay lose Liam to another team? We have a Running Game and an OC that knows how to use the talent. Take away Baker's INTs, Liam Coen is doing great. I am willing to Gamble On Liam Coen, as HC in 2025, if a choice needs to be made at the end of the 2024 season ….Under Coen, can the Defense Be Worse? Not Really 😉 Any Thoughts?

  4. The Chargers unless a miracle happens will also be a loss. The west coast teams are always a problem. The Bucs historically have done poorly against teams on the west coast. One year was an exception with Jon Gruden when they won both games they had on the west coast – against the Chargers and the 49ers.They won't be 11-6. Their best opportunity is to go 10-7 which is what I said before the season started. I don't believe they will make the playoffs but I think Todd Bowles will keep his job, particularly if they improve the defense. Jason Licht has never thrown away draft picks so all the analysts talking about the Bucs trading before the trade deadline don't know the GM.

  5. I love ya, SR. But this Pewter Pulse is a reach lol. A friendlier schedule doesn’t mean help is on the way. Also, NO OPPONENT is an easy opponent for this defense. 😬

  6. I would feel better about the team if we could take a win vs Chiefs and/or 49ers. I love the 2nd half schedule & agree with SR, but I need a win vs. a strong team as a confidence builder.

  7. A little click-baity on the title there, Reynolds. But with this defense as it's currently constructed and coached, no remaining games can be considered probable wins. The blueprint on how to beat Bowles scheme and his stubbornness of personnel has been laid down and every other team will use it. Shoot out wins are hard to pull off in the NFL as we just saw this week. So, it's looking more like a 7-10 type year to me.

  8. Help is coming. Its Bowles getting his young guys coached up. The defense started the year with hopes and dreams due to key offensive signings. Attrition hit that side early and often, and his ILB group has just completely let him down. He has a knack for getting his guys inspired to play their best football at the end of the season. Its what he does. He has been aggressive all season long, and it hasnt panned as well as anticipated. Its a 17 game season. These kids are playing hard and not giving up. Lets Gooooo!

  9. I will never trust any week as an "easy" game. I still remember losing to the jets after they lost their qb, when testeverde came out of retirement, beat us, and retired again. Worst week ever.

  10. The problem that I see is our defense unless something amazing happens, this defense kind of sucks. And I'm not holding my breath on any team looking like an easy win because of how bad our defense is

  11. If we get our defense to play league average we’re a top team in NFL. We have one of the best versatile offense. Only year in recent memory with great run game

  12. I hate that the Bucs have to beat a bunch of bad teams because that’s what we are known for beating bad teams we have to start beating teams like the chiefs and other really good teams to earn any respect

  13. We'll make Danny Dimes looks like an absolute HOF legend and get him a new deal. This is one of the worst defenses I've ever seen from the bucs.

  14. So the crappy teams the Bucs play after the bye can possibly save Bowles job if he wins most of them making the playoffs and we take the risk of losing the best OC we have ever had. Hmmm…let 's think about it.

  15. We need defensive help. I don't care how bad these teams records are after the bye week. If we don't show up or make costly mistakes or if the injury bug starts hitting us again, this also could turn into a lost season and that my friend would bum me out big time. So yes, schedule is favorable after the bye, but remember, our Bucs have to show up and play and that's on both sides of the ball! LFG!!

  16. How does the schedule getting easier helps the bucs this is a low bar pewter report and you’re putting a lot of stock in thinking the back end games is a possible win

  17. SR….Pewter Report are the best in this space but this is not the help I was clicking on this video about. Chargers, Saints, and even the Giants are losable games. This defense stinks. Hope I’m wrong.
