  6. Steelers will get an elevated position in the playoffs, no lower than the 5th seed.

    Reason: OC is LIGHTYEARS better than Canada, and no crap QBs. The past ten years, the Steelers missed the playoffs by losing winnable games, and by losing games played by backup QBs.

    This isn't the situation now. Steelers win AT LEAST 4 more games this year – putting them at 10 wins – that's a playoff berth.

    If they want a shot at the Superbowl, they should run the ball the rest of the season, and then bust out a HEAVY PASSING ATTACK in the playoffs. The league won't know what hit them.

  13. What I know is that none of these broadcasters were taking about AFC championship or Superbowl a couple months back. Fields wasn't good enough and Russ suck and was too old. Keep that same energy don't jump on the wagon now. Let's just watch and see how things play out. One fact is glaringly evident. A lot of them don't like Russ. They never did.

  14. Kimberly Martin is wrong. If Russ were not there, this team wouldn’t be a SB contender, and they are one now, whether they get another receiver or not.

  15. Why are so many people surprised that Russ is playing so good in Pittsburgh? He didn't mesh well w/Sean Payton at Denver!
    The Steelers are a Play Action Team. Russ is a Play Action QB.
    Plus unlike Kenny Pickett & even Big Ben. He moves the ball around to 5,6,7 targets. Ben last 2-3 yrs of his career threw to 1 guy Deonte Johnson mainly. He would get to the line and look automatically to his left at Deonte. Very predictable! He was almost drooling over Deonte not in a gay way of course. Sure Deonte got 5 yard dump off passes. Not much more.
    Fields didn't have the vision or accuracy of Russ.
    But they are playing sloppy offense right now but it's still much improved w/Russ!
    And I think 🤔 they will improve as long as Tomlin doesn't play for field goals as he was at the beginning of the year (&for many yrs previously). I think he realized (as I've been saying for yrs) playing for field goals is one day going to bit him in the butt as it did against Dallas! You can't solely rely on your defense only as they usually always do. Yes TJ is All World- Awesome 😎! But that defense has been a little shaky lately letting teams run and pass on them. Scoring TD's off long runs! Joey Porter playing 10 yards off the ball. All the receiver has to do is turn around and he gets a 10 yard reception with no effort! I get the prevent defense but when Joey did that in the Giants game they got 8-10yds. On 4th/2 the Giants went for it & got it.

  16. Well Stephen A the reason they are ranked 28th in TD efficiency is because of Mike Tomlin playing for field goals. He's been ok playing it safe running so they don't turn it over by throwing. And plus the sloppy play of things like face mask calling George TD back in Giants game.
    Third, stupid plays maybe called by Tomlin telling his OC to call in the Red Zone like sideways passes which most of the time are a waste of a down and a loss of yards.
    Sideways passes 🏈 are not screens. Screens are a little to the side but up the field 1-2 yards usually. The momentum of the player is moving forward. Unlike w/a sideways pass they receiver has to sit for the ball 🏈 to arrive and then run forward. By that time the defender is in his face along with 5-6 of his team mates & half of the Fans in the Stadium. Screens are best used like Big Ben did with Jerome Bettis. Instead of taking the sake it was like a bail out. Plus they are used when the running back chips a defensive player &/or nobody is open down the field. You don't score going sideways (East/West). You score going North/South- straight ahead! But either way the QB should not throw the ball 🏈 unless there are some blockers for his guy catching the ball 🏈 .

  20. We beat the Ravens twice last year with Kenny Pickett. I believe out of the last eight times we faced Lamar Jackson we beat them 7 how to read times. The Steelers have Lamar Jackson's number and they always have.

  27. The 2024 Steelers reminded me of the 1970's Oakland Raiders. In the 70's the Steelers stood in the raiders way & the team that reminds me of the 1970's Steelers is the Kansas City Chiefs…the Steelers are gonna Dethrone the Chiefs just like the Raiders did the Steelers in 1976.

  33. the Steelers have a really good chance to win afc north because the browns beat the Ravens 😂😂😂😂 so of the Steelers beat the browns twice and go 1an1 with Baltimore we have the tie breaker
