6. Also looking at Titans Arden Key. Ojulari does not fit what Holmes is putting out there in negotiations. He wants an DE who can set the edge and run-stop as well as get to the QB in pressures/hurries. Some are suggesting Chase Young, he's better than what's on current roster but does not fit the Lions culture of wanting to be apart of a family. Young was non-existent on the 49ers in their SB run because he takes plays off.

7. Azeez has solid numbers, if we got him and Zadarius we'd get two good and capable Edge rushers. Azeez doesn't have a contract after this season, so I don't see us giving up a ton to get him because it's not ideal as we'll have to pay current market DE money after the year. I think if we can give up a 4th straight up for Smith, and a 5th for Azeez that'd be great. Who knows he could re-up on a team friendly, then next season Healthy Hutch, with veteran Smith, and Azeez as top shelf quality depth. Davenport will be a UFA after this year so we could just move on from him and bring Azeez back if he plays well. And we'd then have 2025 with 2 good to very good DEs and 1 All Pro. Hope Holmes gets at least Azeez or Smith.

10. Hutch isn’t coming back for the Super Bowl, that was a nasty double break in his leg. The man has a 6’7” appetite, limited mobility and a nasty injury. Fans need to temper expectations and understand we need to litigate risk by putting him down until 2025 when he has adequate time to get comfortable moving again and get back into football shape.
