Draisaitl is top 5…coming from one of the biggest Oilers haters in the world and arguably as or more dangerous than McDavid in the playoffs. I'd definitely take him over Matthews.

I do not understand anyone that criticizes or underrates Leon. I feel like anyone saying anything has never actually watched the guy play more than his playoff games. Such nonsense. The Malkin comparison is appropriate for sure. Leon's skating and use of the body is SO much fun to watch.

Malkin was so good while ceosby was out that i started to wonder if he should be on another team and be the #1 leader there.

They should keep Connor and Draisaitl separated. They are each phenomenal on their own, and what team can furnish two top-level defenses to cover both lines?

Drai is one of the most conplete players the game has ever seen. he'd score 100 points on ANY team regardless of who he plays with.
One thin nobody talks about how bad Drais linemates are moat of the time. AND STILL he puts up crazy numbers.
He only plays on McDavids line when they load up the first line which only happens maybe 3-4 times per game. The rest of the time he's playing with guys that wouldn't even make half the leagues rosters…..

Overrated? Geez people are stupid.
He's more important to this team than McDavid. He can score when others can't. McDavid can be shut down oh so easily. All you have to do is let him skate around in circles in your end and cover everyone else. He constantly loses the puck because because he is moving so fast and trying to stickhandle. Draisaitl gets the puck and while he doesn't skate fast it is near impossible to get it off him. And then a quick move and it's in the net.
If anyone is overrated IMO, it's McDavid. Not saying he isn't a great player, he is. But if it was a must win game and I had to choose one player, it would be Draisaitl and not McJesus.
He’s one of the top players in the NHL and he’s well recognized for being so. I don’t see any issues of being over or under-rated, and all arrangements are fine. Too many people like splitting hairs and making mountains out of molehills is all.🤷♂️
McDavid isnt the best player in the world. Also, Draisaitl didnt have a great cup final because Barkov (the actual best player in the world) shut him down all series.
Get used to it Dri, I will be very surprised if McDavid resigns with Edmonton when his contract is up.
