Ahead of your schedule, I want to mention Tork, the potential 40 hr 1st baseman. 31 a year ago, this year pitchers had his number. Do we reengineer him confidently, or trade him? IF we trade him, please do not go for a long term answer at first base. WE HAVE BRICENO. He's tearing up the Fall League and is two years away from the majors. PERFECT if we can go after a two year contract with PAUL GOLDSHMIDT. ⚾🤩🤩 PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.
Scott, from time to time can you break down what some of these stat acronyms are and why they are significant. What is a WHIP? or FWAR?
What are the Tiger's going to do with a 1st base in 2025. Stand pat or make a trade or send him packing. They need more offecive player there in 2025 and beyond.
AJ Hinch was talking about next season recently and bluntly stated that the Tigers have to get better across the board if they want to play in October. Keith does have the ability and can hit mistakes, but it looked like he took way too many fastballs in hopes of getting an off-speed mistake. Along with Tork and many other Tiger hitters, Keith should be working on hitting the fastball. If he can jump on the fastball, teams are going to have a tough time getting him out.
