  1. It’s been 64 regular season games since the Devils last 3 game win streak. Siegs broke a 42 game goalless streak last night. Let’s hope the Devils follow up and get that 3rd consecutive win to end that streak. What do you consider is the start of a ā€œHeaterā€? 4 game win streak, 5?
You and the person(4Devils I think) that brought it up last night in the live chat are right on the money when you talk about the Devils needing to dictate the physicality and pace of the game from puck drop. It has to happen every night for them to turn the corner on ā€œCup Contenderā€ status and they can’t let up. Also, they still don’t respond fast enough to other teams momentum swings. I’m sure Keefe sees it and will address the issue. He seems to be taking care of the bad habits with every game. Jack seems to be slowly changing his ā€œpond hockeyā€ ways. Luke too. I think that has more to do with his defense partner though. Maybe both Keefe and Pesce(🐟) are forcing him to grow up defensively. Side note, I keep saying I’ve bought my last Game Worn for the season, but I need a Pesce jersey šŸ™‚ Love his last name, plus he is solid on the ice.
I’m rambling, anyway, I’m liking what I see at this point of the season. Some things still need to be cleaned up, but the Devils are looking fairly good.
Big game Saturday, Mac needs another big win in that jersey and please, for all that is holy, I’m praying to the Gods, old and new for him to score a F***ING GOAL, preferably in his Red Set1, lmao.
    LGD!

  2. Was at the game and the officials were awful. Third goal against came due to a non-boarding call on Noesen when all the Devils players stopped playing waiting for the call that never came. Left Markstrom out to dry. Close game throughout.

  3. Bratt & Hughes are a solid combination. If the boys can tighten up a few things we will have a very solid season. Great to see #23 out there last night.

  4. Devils could have easily scored 7 or 8. Montreal had some timely saves and never died. The better team won and my boys Jack and Bratt looked fucking stupendous. Lets goooo

  5. Going to the AHL is a good thing for Nemec. I don't think he would be very pissed. He expected to the whole season last year. Now, he can go back and marinate this year. It's the right thing to do. He'll be glad he did. Need to take time with these guys.

  6. another far from convincing game from the Devils and especially Markstrom. His first goal, there have been to many like that this season. A good goalie simply do not allow these shots to go through that much
