sale and skubal will win the cy youngs bc baseball started in march and paul skenes wasn't called up until may. but skenes accumulated 5.9 war across just 133 innings, compared to 6.2 and 6.3 for sale and skubal across 177 and 192 innings. on a rate basis, skenes has more war, a lower era, and a better strike out rate than either sale or skubal. he was the best starting pitcher in baseball. and he's a rookie! it's gonna be exciting to see what the next few years look like for him 😀
