  1. Feel like we’ve seen the last of Pop on the sidelines. Damn that hurts to even type out

  2. All we can do is pray these players are like his family it’s going to be hard for him to step away damn

  3. I wouldn’t blame him for retiring. I could cry thinking about it, but I just want the best for him.

  4. I am thankful he is ok and wish the best in his recovery. If he wants to stay active with the team, I hope he transitions to a meaningful role that keeps him mostly in San Antonio with way less travel

  5. Hearing this feels like my own father has had a stroke. Pop will always have a special place in my heart.

  6. Makes me sad not seeing him coach but, I think itโ€™s time for pop to hang it up. Wish nothing but the best for him and a speedy recovery

  7. Seems like they tried gaslighting fans making the perception it wasnโ€™t a severe ordeal. A stoke ainโ€™t no joke. Time for him to consider retirement. Sad but the time was going to come.

  8. Get well soon Pop! Iโ€™m sure heโ€™ll make the best decision for himself. A great coach and an even greater human being.

  9. That seems like kind of what was to be expected based on the info they were giving before this. All things considered not as bad as other health incidents could have been and them saying full recovery is a very positive thing.

Don’t even want to think about what it means for him as a coach just want him to take whatever time he needs to feel better and make that decision on his own accord.

  10. Aw man ๐Ÿ˜ž Wishing him a full recovery. Whatever he decides to do, I wish him all the best. Hell of a coach and a wonderful human being.

  11. Oh no, if anyone can come back from this itโ€™s Pop. Sending healing vibes to him and all of his family!

  12. Take all the time you need pop there is no rush and there is nothing more important than your health, especially not a kids game. I know youโ€™ll be back in time to coach us to the playoffs as soon as you recover

  13. If he hadnโ€™t been drinking all that wine all these years, this would have done him in. ย Come back, soon, Pop.ย

  14. Wording seems optimistic and I truly wish pop a speedy recovery. But very likely we may not see him on court as a head coach anymore.

  15. Hope he still has a role in the front office, even if he steps away from day to day coaching
