[Bollinger] Travis d’Arnaud said he reached out to Logan O’Hoppe before his signing was announced to make sure it didn’t surprise him and to let him know he’ll be there for him. “I want him to be the greatest Angels catcher of all time,” d’Arnaud said.

  10. d’Arnaud has long come off as one of the most kind and compassionate athletes I can remember. The dude is genuine.

  12. Travis is a great signing for O’Hoppe on a good deal. Should definitely help his progression and one day hopefully Logan will be a top catcher in this league.

  17. I have posted this before, but a few years ago, the Braves posted a video asking players and coaches who they think would make a good MLB manager someday. A number of players, coaches, and Brian Snitker all say Travis. But more importantly at the end, Travis says himself. So I’m sure being a coach/manager is something Travis sees himself doing someday.

  23. O’Hoppe is going to love having d’Arnaud as a mentor so much, he’s going to lower case the O in honor of him.

    This is a good fit for the Angels, d’Arnaud and O’Hoppe.
