  4. This team is so uninspired it’s fucking pathetic. Outside of Saros this team doesn’t give a damn

  5. We’re cooked for sure. Team is just way too easy to defend. 3rd time getting shutout this year, and none of those shutouts were difficult

  6. Not gunna win games when the 4th line is the only line consistently getting offensive zone time.

  7. Fire Bruno or make him change his system. There has not been a single second this season that this team has looked good. The only games we won we either barely won or took advantage of the other team playing like trash.

  12. It’s close, but Marchessault is definitely the worst of the signings so far. Nothing positive from him so far.

  17. Holy fucking shit that was awful to watch. It should be noted that in the last three games we have yet to see a single point from any of our top “””weapons””” outside of Josi. Stamkos and Marchessault have been unbelievably bad lately

  18. Stamkos is washed and Evangelista gets pushed around like the smallest kid in the schoolyard. No center depth. We suck.

  22. No more first line Stamkos, please. Would rather see one of the kids get an opportunity to play with Forsberg. Marchy is basically playing at the level of a fourth line grinder (lots of energy, little skill), so why not put him there. Need to start getting kids ice time and secure a good pick in the draft.

    I’m sure Tomasino, Novak, Evangelista, Pars, Svechkov, L’roo, and Kemell, etc. can learn a lot from sharing the ice with guys like Josi, Stamkos, ROR, and Forsberg for a few years. & we can be just as terrible as we are now.

    As for the rest of them, if they aren’t a vet that can provide value to the youth, or the youth themselves, its time to start finding trading partners.

  23. Gms will be using this trotz offseason as the ‘not to do’ manual for the next couple decades. It’s like he did absolutely zero research on advanced metrics and just signed big names with zero thought. None of these new guys can drive plays on their own.

    Stamkos was a product of kucherov, and marchy was a product of a strong vegas team and eichel. I could’ve told trotz this for 5 dollars.

  24. Bolts fan here. I’ve been listening to your games since Stammer came over. Just wanna say I think your guys’ radio broadcasters are awesome and legitimately super funny. This was a boring game but the broadcast was really fun to listen to.

    I feel like one big problem with this team is that it doesn’t have any identity. Are they trying to be a hard forechecking team? A strong defensive team? Do they want to dominate possession or score off the rush? It’s not clear, and I think we’re seeing that in the way that they’ve managed to be so much less than the sum of their parts. You can bring in all these veteran players, but that doesn’t automatically make your team good if there’s no vision and no chemistry. Part of that has to be on management, but a large part of it is probably also on the coaching. I have to assume Bruno is on real thin ice at this point.

  28. Absolutely fucking pathetic team. It’s actually surprising how fucking bad they suck. You’d figure a team with this much talent would accidentally be mediocre but they can’t even fucking manage that. Just fucking pathetic.

  29. This team is so depressing from the top down. No way to even rebuild if they wanted to because there are too many unmovable pieces now. We are going to be a cautionary tale in the NHL against building a team this poorly.
