  1. I totally agree about winning. Losing in hopes of catching lightning in a bottle with a high draft pick is a fool’s folly. How many first rounders stick up the place in the 65 years of my life reveals this is not solid thinking. How about read about Jamarcus Russell and how about Justin Fields? I could go on. Rookies are crap shoots. How about Crosby with the Raiders? He was a 5th Rounder. He’s better than most first rounders in the last 7 years. Please do research.

  2. All you have to do is watch the post game pressers. Dennis Allen is the male version of an ex-wife, a succubus. Rizzi is his nemesis, he brings energy and excitement to the game. It’s that simple.

  3. I think there is something to this special teams coordinator being a head coach. ATL kicker missed 3 out of 4, including one blocked fg and Hopkins missing back to back kicks, with one being shorter than the last. If the Rams miss a kick or two when we play them, then i believe in the Rizzler affect 100%!

  4. They gotta do what they say they doing ride the hot hand until it’s no longer hot whoever is hot keep the fire goin hopefully spark other players I think taysom being hot helps Carr a lot just wait for the pass to DC for the touchdown😂😂

  5. A team is in the run for the playoffs right up until they're mathematically eliminated. No, you don't have to beat "good teams" to be in the playoff runs. The Redskins have won against a bunch of bum teams. It's the NFL, a win is a win.

And of course, absolutely NO ONE is tanking for a draft pick. Madden players need to go comment on video game content not football content.

  6. Agreed J. Ski, but you have to do it with an experienced QB. The staff is great under C.Rizzi but it's best to pick up Carr's contract on the cheap. Etc… D. Carr is already familiar with the scheme.

  7. In the WR role, MVS can simply do more than Shaheed. Shaheed brings the PR/KR benefit. Moving forward, so long as the Saints have DC4 they can make a run at upgrading the WR group for 2025 by trying to sign MVS and maybe go after someone like Mike Williams, JuJu Smith-Schuster, or Nelson Agholor.

  8. 19:05 – Dennis Allen seemed very willing to try things and push it. But as soon as something failed, he was very quick to rein it in and go too conservative.

31:00 – It means DC4 will stay. Of course DC4 is staying regardless. But even the most braindead Rattler-tard will have to admit it.

  9. I give lots of credit to Carr for being able to adjust to new coaching and schemes on the fly. He was built for these situations. Carr makes Rizzi job easy. The rest of the games are like a 2 minute drill. Carr thrives in those situations because it gives him more freedom to create like Kobe. Which also means he's going to need help like Kobe always had help. Proof is in the pudding. Carr is one of the QBs with most comeback wins. I think the Saints win out if the defense figures it out and the oline can create a pocket for Carr to climb. Playoffs is definitely a part of this season's dream still. Let's go!!! WhoDat!!! MVS>Shaheed. He can run routes and isn’t a one trick pony. He already improves the Saints chances in the redzone due to his size and hands.

  10. Jacob Hester is staring at his own career stats sheet and struggling to come to terms with the fact that he only started 23 games in his career, because he's 100% certain his crap doesn't stink and he's actually an NFL legend despite all evidence to the contrary.

  11. We beat the Rams, and the Skins and Pack are gonna sweat.

Maybe get Olave back in as purely a decoy if he can't take major hits… maybe they leave him wide open as a response…

  12. All we need the Saints to do continually, is to prosper with plug in Veterans!

You maintain your solid core players and when a key player goes down, plug in another Veteran. That can keep you strong and productive. starting all over from scratch is foolish,

wasteful and nothing but down time waiting for something to evolve. Get hip and get a new approach to have continuous winning seasons! Veterans are the answer!

  13. I had a ton of hope after the first two weeks, then I had no hope after the next 4-7 weeks. When I knew the Carolina game was getting close I was torn on who to root for, I thought back to the end of the Haslett days and then hoped we’d lose because I was confident DA would finally be fired.

Fast forward to the last 2 weeks I feel hopeful for the future, we have an actual leader of men that the players respect and believe in. We need to keep Rizzi for at least next year if we finish the season on a decent note. Totally agree on keeping the staff in place and building on the talent we have. Great podcast James, keep it up brother! Who Dat!?

  14. I see people get on how bad the defense is, but how many points has they actually given up? Yards matter yes, but if an opponent has 500 yards but only score 10 points is that really a horrible defense? Bend don't break.

  15. I think we need to give Rizzi's judgement some room to breathe as far as the new WRs we've rolled out the last two weeks. If I'm not mistaken he cut Jermaine Jackson and promoted Dante Pettis to that kick return role and look what happened there. Kevin Austin Jr. hasn't done anything crazy but he's been reliable when targeted, and what I think is even more important is his downfield blocking on Kamara runs. I've seen him involved more than once on those plays, and that's what we need from everyone because obviously when we're firing on all cylinders in the running game with Alvin and Taysom we are unstoppable.

  16. its kinda hard to want the saints try and win out and make playoffs but id honeslty rather us a top 5 pick either way im here for the ride whatever happens
