3. Bro… great win. But Cade needs to sort this out ASAP. If he’s gonna be the lead ball handler, then he needs to quit being so lackadaisical with his playmaking, and his handle needs to tighten up QUICK. He’s starting to get exposed and teams are learning how to play him. They press him and send 2 frequently. He can’t handle it consistently over a whole game if they do that.

14. These complaints are a FAR CRY from this team one year ago. I mean criticize as you will, but as Ku said, this team EASILY loses this game mere months ago.

15. Pistons need a PG. Cade can have the ball in his hands most of the time but really they always need a true point guard on the floor.

16. The Pistons overcame. They overcame an offensive onslaught from Herro. They overcame sloppy ball handling on their part. They overcame Cade’s back spasms. They overcame Ivey fouling out. They overcame Duren ball watching and slow reacting. Last year’s team would have folded when they lost the lead. They would have crumbled under the weight of their turnovers. But last night this team won.

    Stew was a FORCE in the paint grabbing boards, swatting lobs, banging, and finishing.

    Cade struggled with back spasms on his way to a near triple double. I’m so confused by the way the refs ignore Cade getting hacked and grabbed. High gather…low gather…crying out on contact with the ref standing next to him, Cade doesn’t get calls.

    Ivey played a complete game on both ends. He gave us defense, playmaking, and scoring and all of it with force.

    Beasley, Tobias, and Tech stepped up in a major way. Beasley filled in when THJ went down. Tobias was more engaged than he was last game. Tech HIT SHOTS!!

17. I disagree that it's hard for refs to know when a player is literally grabbing and holding onto a players arm. Not swiping, not raking – literally grabbing.

18. 4 years earlier the Lions were losing games they could’ve won. They started barely winning then then went on a streak. And now they are the best team in the league. I say that to say this team is on the right track and you have to learn how to win then learn how to not lose win you winning. Then you learn to dominate you can’t skip steps

21. Low gather for sure. Good observation, Ku. Isiah Thomas dribbled and gathered down below or at his knees and he was only 6'1" to begin with. I am not sure CC at 6'6" can easily "low gather". Derek Rose also low gathered and he bumped physical and went up through the tangle of arms. He got fouled a lot along with the scoring hoops. Beasly shooting great. Beef Stew being physical and nasty. Stew leading the league in welts and bruises passed out to the opposition..

27. The pistons could easily be the 3rd seed in the eastern conference if they stop turning the ball over and got their late game execution figured out. The defense so far this season has been good and it’s keeping them in games.

28. I appreciate how much are vets have been coming through for us for the past few weeks but I do not like how they had to bail us out from shity performances from our back court. Katie's on a Max contract in those type of 4th quarter blunders are unacceptable.

    He plays like this every other game so we have no reason to believe that he will ever improve on his lackadaisical ball protection

35. Agree the Pistons are playing well and they are keeping the games very exciting. They should easily have a winning record at the end of the month.
    BUT
    Stacking all these winnable games early makes the rest of the schedule difficult. The end of November will be there peak winning percentage and by the trade deadline some fans will be frustrated saying what happened when it is really just scheduling. Looking at the whole schedule it looks like 30 wins max and more like Vegas knows what it’s doing in the mid-20s.
    But, I’ll enjoy it while it lasts and I love seeing the team play and defense improvements. We are finally moving in the right direction.

37. To me, Cade’s turnovers fall into two categories:
    1- trying to make difficult, low percentage passes (depending on game state, this is fine)
    2 – lazy/careless dribbling that usually come towards the end of the game and in bunches, which makes me wonder how much is mental/physical fatigue. These are inexcusable if he wants to be a primary ball handler. The book is out on this so teams are just laying traps that he’s walking right into. Would love to see some more accountability.
    If he can cut the TOs from bucket 2 in half he’s an all star.

39. Cade’s turnovers are too high and he has them at key moments at times. He cannot keep having 7 turnovers. He should be at like 3 max.
