1. you don't need the fancy player to win a championship i rather be well rounded then having a 4 player show because that's what the Yankees were last season it was Soto, G, Judge, Cole.

2. who will pay a DH in his late 30s going into his 40s over $40 million no i'll pass we had Soto and lost. we have flaws get better everywhere Soto doesn't solve your infield and outfield issues in left and center etc.

16. It kinda pisses me off when reporters tell us to spend 700 million on one player. This game keeps getting younger. He may only have five top years left and he will clog dh for many years. Better to leave dh spot for resting players. The game is trending towards speed and athleticism.

19. Honestly speaking, Juan soto is young and a great player..but he is young . We shouldn't spend all the money on him, I understand he's talented, but there are plenty of talented players just like him or better…I feel like he is just chasing a pay day , and I feel like he's being greedy.

28. What is she talking about? With all due respect, you need the theater? You need him to put butts in the seats? You need the fancy brand? First of all, Yankee Stadium will be full with Soto or without Soto. Second, what theater? Soto is a fantastic player, generational hitter, and I rather have him than not, but if it's gonna cost the team $660M+, we can spend that money on plan b and starting pitching. Hal said that having a big payroll like they already had was not working, so why should we keep doing things the same way if it's not working. What does theater get you, if you're not winning? If signing Soto is gonna hamper our chances of making other moves, how are we solving the problems we had last season?

29. I think it’s pretty clear at this moment if the Yankees end up spending 600 on Soto that would be a big mistake as there are other positions they need to fill that would cost less to fill cumulatively

31. I'm a 30+ year Yankees fan and Soto my favorite player. BUT the TEAM would be better if they got 3 all-stars for the price of 1 super star. Of course, I would like to have my cake and eat it too, but I don't think that's going to happen…unless they spend a Billion dollars.

32. No Soto? Trade Stroman and Cortez to Pads for Arraez and Cronenworth, two left-handed sticks that can play both 1B and 2B. Move Jazz to center. Sign a starter, perhaps Severino. They've got guys to play left and third.

33. As a Yankee fan I’m over Soto I rather use that money elsewhere and improve my team to make use way better than put all that money just on one guy
