bronco fan here wilson still cannot hit the middle of the field, Pittsburgh has more talent to overcome this flaw, but i would take nix any day over wilson.
Florio not wearing his Steelers jersey today I see π
The qb switch was not a problem at all itβs the overrated defense sorry azz π€¦π½ββοΈ
You're right it seems like the Steelers and their coaching overthink things a lot when push comes to shove and speaking of shoving the offensive line needs to start shoving instead of being shoved
The Browns got absolutely GASHED by the option game in NO with Taysom.
Of course Tomlin put some plays in for one of the best option QBs in the league. Much more speed.
Yall are grasping. The Browns are a better team then their record which should be obvious with decent QB play now. This roster is still talented…
Listen to this man! He knows exactly what he's talking about; he played da game. STEELERS play RAVENS & 4 days later another divisional rival. No way. STEELERS will be Great this year anyways! π€ππ€ππ€ππ€ππ€π
You do realize that the Browns had to play on a short week too, right? As you make a laundry list of excuses for why Pittsburgh lost this game, the Browns played this past Sunday too, and they still figured out how to win this game. As a matter of fact, Kevin Stefanski is undefeated on Thursday Night Football. So that tells me that winning on Thursdays isn't impossible.
If your gonna swap in different QBs also swap in oline that he practice with for his offense and swap out Russell oline . That way teams see a total new offensive package and that will be hard to game plan for
Arthur smith was supposed to fix deficiency but his play calling is too predictable on short yardage and this Justin fields thing is counter perductive.
We lost to the most backup quarterbacks in the history of the NFL under Mike Tomlin.
Ryan Mallet, Joe Flacco, Jameson Wiston, Brian Zappe, Gardner Minshew, Jacoby Brissett, Tyler Huntley, Case Keenum, Mike Glennon, Blake Bortles, Tim Tebow, etc,.
Tomlin will lose again up there next year guaranteed no matter the circumstances
It's way simpler than that. I watched that Browns game and one team wanted to win a LOT more than the other. I love Mike Tomlin but he needs to take himself (and his coaching staff) to the woodshed after dropping that game to the last-place Browns. They did not have an answer for Jameis Winston, a QB with ten years in the league. WTF
Stats explains that ever since week 8, Pittsburgh has been last in the NFL in the Red Zone. Russ can move the ball, but in the red zone, he's been terrible. 4 Sacks this game, 3 the previous one, and that's with throwing the ball away. The Defensive coordinators know heβs a statue for the part and want to rely on a "moon ball" thats no longer workings favorably. That's why they're implementing Justin Fields. First 6 games, his legs and passing. They're going to need to score more with TD's and less with C Boz. They know it and see it. Facts over Feelings on who need to be the QB .
Arthur Smith the OC needs to do what other OC's have to do when their team can push the ball down the field but struggles to score: come up with more variety and schemes in the play calling. Changing QBs should be the last thing to try. Keep Russell in there
So Dumb putting in Fields.
Both coaches made a couple mistakes. Ultimately, it was execution. Those who say refs, it was hard to see.
FIELDS WONT STUDY
HE IS A BUST….LET IT GO!
Coaching lost this game flat out.
If you are s lousy team like the saints it's one thing to have tysom Hill play but when you are trying to get the $1 seed and win a Superbowl it's not the time to put in a backpack QB.
Russell Wilson's Stat Line vs Cleveland:
21/28, 75% Comp%, 270 yards, 1 TD, 0 Ints, 1 fumble, Passer Rating of 116.7 in the midst of a blizzard π¨οΈπ¨οΈπ¨οΈ.
Tomlin and Smith should've let Russell Wilson play that entire series after Pittsburgh intercepted Winston. That's where Pittsburgh lost the game.
