1. Thank you Matt, Any game at anytime and coming off a hard played game and a short break. It all adds up. The team needs to get to work and stop trying things that don't work. Great show Matt

2. This game wouldn't have been even close if they'd have called all of those dpi for pickens. Or if Tomlin doesn't get stubborn and keep putting the defense in a short field. If they'd have punted and pinned them deep with all of the 0-10 on 3rd down. Pittsburgh would have had the short field. It would have killed their momentum.

3. I fear Watt has been figured out as far as game planning against him .

4. Hay Matt…this may sound crazy… but what about moving TJ to the middle ?? I know…he would stop our leaky run defense, we know he can intercept, knock down passes. When Highsmith gets back, Move Herbig to left and TJ middle ??

5. I agree that it was death by a thousand cuts, but the main bleeding was caused by this awful offensive line. The fatal blow was the sideways punt.

7. Bad play calls and a slow start on a short week killed us. Attempted 58 field goal in bad weather leading to a Browns score was stupid. Punt and hold them deep in their end. Play Defense win the game.

8. I couldn't believe how the Browns celebrated after that game! Classic Browns celebrating a 3-8 record!

9. I’ve been up and down on tomlin over the years. I’ve been a big fan this year but dear god the clock management is infuriating. If he could put his pride aside and let someone else manage that we’d be so much better off. It’s clearly not getting any better after 18 years

10. TJ Watt everything was really tired on Thursday or he has been figured out the way miles Garett impacted the game vs TJ is no comparison. I blame this loss on Tomlin and Arthur the plays are not giving what they need to so clearly they are not understanding the assignment and Arthur is not playing people where is Mike Williams? Why isn’t Wilson in on crucial downs someone needs to ask are they getting to cute and over playing this situation?

11. 3rd and 4th and short teams are getting comfortable going for it especially if thebSteelers cant produce TDs.

16. This was the game to go heavy play action and let Russ pass the ball more. It wasn’t boom or bust, it was asking Russ to bail the team out on 3rd down with no push in the run game on 1st and 2nd.

22. Matt. If the Steelers were to lose in the first round of the Playoffs this year would you have a big problem with that?

23. This makes Cincinnati a must win. Whereas before we thought we’d scrape by the Browns, then get a mini bye and see how the league shakes out while we’re in the driver’s seat for the one seed.
    Then the Bengals, who are elite offensively, may get one one you but you say, hey, we just won five in a row. We just wanted to split with them. Now the next Cleveland game becomes a must win too.

    Now because Arthur Smith can’t call plays when it matters and Mike Tomlin doesn’t understand penalties and timeouts, I think I speak for every single person here when I say we’re all very frightened off the wheels coming off.

26. I watched the all the Najee runs, I don’t think there’s much more he could’ve done. PFF graded him and Warren pretty similar (for whatever that’s worth)

27. Steelers are not as good as their record might indicate. Don't understand how Tomlin is still so bad at clock management. Sometimes it feels like he decides to let his team struggle and lose for no reason.

30. Connor is not a good fit for this offense. and the fact 88 can't block a HS player is a problem since he signed a high priced contract. you would expect more from a 6'5 250 lb TE in the blocking. we should draft a new one. keep 80 tho. also a stud true NT this years draft would be great.

32. Matt, what are you seeing on tape offensively? Are receivers getting separation? Why do we always run on 1st down? Seems like we run a lot on 2nd and long as well….

    I feel this is the “brand” of football that the Rooney’s want, regardless of post season success. Seems they are happy with winning seasons, profitability. Makes sense from a business standpoint, right?

33. I'm pretty sure at this point, every team is going to try to take away the deep pass and give them anything intermediate. Wilson either can't or doesn't want to throw to the middle of the field and their receivers don't get enough separation to get quick strikes on short routes. It's a problem.
