  1. If he can even be a serviceable defensive catcher, his bat, eye, and switch hitting profile could easily make him top 3 in the league someday

  2. I feel like a switch hitting catcher with power is AJ’s dream player. He’s going to have him fill in at first and stick him in the outfield a few times like Eric Haase.

  3. I love our catching depth down there. It is wild right now. Briceno least likely to stick at the position but still a possibility, Jimenez the furthest away (2.33 years younger than Liranzo) but still hitting well at 1.3 years younger than the average FCL guy, both Briceno and Liranzo with the ability to hit well enough to move to first base without costing us anything at the plate, both Liranzo and Jimenez switch hitting and potential plus contributors in the field behind the plate…
