I think Raiders have been in messy QB situation since the departure of Derek Carr…now things are even worse with injuries. I believe they will fight to sign Jones no matter what. And believe it or not, Jones has around 10 teams after him at this moment.

Don’t count your chickens too early.
The NFL is never a guarantee.
Any QB could get injured on any given play (Carr got hurt on what seemed like an innocent play) and then they would be scouring the waiver wire and a prior starter like Jones would be appealing.
In fact , he’d be better than the Rattler and Jake stink show.

Why would the raiders sign Jones? Do they need help losing? They’re last in the AFC, tanking for draft picks. Ridder and O’Connell are perfectly capable of losing the rest of their games for them.
