  6. I know it’s a dead horse at this point, but I wonder if it’s playcalling for good. He’s been coy about it the whole time, so I can’t imagine he’d openly say he took it back. But that’s too little too late

  28. What gets me is that Doug had no problem with transparency when he was flying high. Announcing Press was taking over play calling.. as soon as shit went south, he clams up. Really makes him seem petty and stuck in his ways instead of a dynamic leader that can adjust.

    And that’s the problem; we have no idea what’s going on behind closed doors. The lack of transparency and willingness to admit when something isn’t working has ruined what could have been a great situation.

    The narrative that he caught lightning in a bottle in Philly is gonna be pretty hard to dispute for his legacy. Damn shame.
