  1. Ethan, Love your hat, your favorite MLB team and your favorite college football team are my favorite teams too…… I would not extend Skenes YET, I would try to extend Cruz NOW but I'd wait a year on Skenes.

  3. They need to do everything possible to extend Skenes to an 8 year deal (that seems like what he’d be okay with since 31 is an okay age to hit free agency). I would consider Jones but Cruz is such a high gamble so that scares me. I’d much rather them sign one of the two prospects than risk signing Cruz to a decent sized contract 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ethan this is the perfect time to trade him to the dodgers yankees orioles phillies braves brewers astros mets etc the haul back would be there top 5 prospects plus a soild everyday mlb player remember when dallas traded hershel? This set the cowboys up for 3 super bowls lets start the bidding war for skenes, even if he was a cy young winner next season we would finish 3rd or 4th at best. Lets do this at least lets test the waters.

If traded to tthe Dodgers we get back Dalton Rushing our everyday 1b Josue Depaula our cf Cruz moves to rf Alex Freeland our new ss JAckson Ferris lhp enters our rotation or long relief River ryan enters our rotation or long relief 2 mlb players coming to us GAvin Lux and Anthony bAnda lhp reliever, I would make this deal in a second what are your thoughts?

  6. Extending Skenes for 8 years will cost north of $250 MM and that seems low to me. Highly unlikely that Nutting pays that much but I'd be all for it..
