2. It would depend a lot on how much salary the cubs are willing to eat

3. Only if its a Soto backup with the Cubs taking DJ and more Yankees prospects in exchange.

4. If it was Stroman for Bellinger would you guys take it? Contract for contract?

5. He hit 18 HRs this year, would’ve been 24 in YS.

6. If theyre shopping him that hard then he prob is not good. That seems like a massive red flag

7. Bellinger isn’t great, but our 1B situation has been really bad for multiple years now. Even an average bat would be a significant upgrade.

8. The “ Oh, God, Pleeeeeease take him!!” poster they put in the lobby was really tacky.

9. Screw the cub owner by not going to the games. Stop putting money in his pockets and maybe he will get the message. Cubs are a cash cow for this dude, nothing more.

11. While certainly not the MVP caliber player he was early in his career, he’s Lou Gehrig compared to who we had playing first base this year
