  1. Vikings first 3 games and first half against the Packers were legit SB contenders. Since halftime of the packers game, through Bears game, different team. Lions spotted the Vikes 10 points, then got serious and shut the door. Lions the clear best of the NFC, Eagles second. Rest are pretenders.

  2. What the media is forgetting about the Vikings. Is the franchise is a year ahead of schedule. Getting rid of Kirk, and other expensive veterans. Deciding to eat all of their dead cap hits this year. Will give them around 75 million to spend in free agency next offseason. And they've already paid JJ & Darrisaw.

  3. Here's the thing with Minnesota. The team does well because they aren't paying a QB tons of cash. You look at what Minnesota wants to do is they want team control on the QB to improve the whole team. The reason that defense looks the way it does is because they had the cap space to do it.

Also fake news on JJ Mccarthy having a 2nd surgery. It was a simple plasma injection because he went to hard during rehab because he wants to start next year.

  4. McCarthy didn't have a second surgery he had an injection that is normal… 2nd it was not a given that Darnold was even going to start this year because McCarthy was coming on strong… Cousins is a very good lesson for the Vikings… Slingin Sammy will get his money deservedly but not in MN

  5. KOC nor the GM are going to leave everything for 2025 in JJ’s untested hands. Just look at how the “Rookie”QB’s have faired this season.
They”ll still need either Sam Darnold,(or someone just as capable), to work with as well as to backup McCarthy up. Just like what the plan was for this year’s
    team.

  6. Dont have known defensive players, thats because its Minnesota, shown no love by the media so no one outside knows the players. greenard is better for us than Hunter was last year, fits the scheme mutch better, Gink is insane, undefeated w/ Cashman in the game, bro is an insane run stopper. thats just to name literally a few

  7. So knowing that im watching the guy that knows absolutely everything "nothing"… let's me know koc is a savant. He is the guy that doesn't get to high or to low.. he wins games with a progressive offensive take and then they got b flow.!! Yo we are good but on edge.. meaning if everything works in our benefit and we limit penalties we are a couple playoff team win

  8. I think McCarthy is getting a better then love experience sitting and learning more and believing in the defense that will give him multiple opportunities.. the stars are aligned boys and girls.. but I'm thinking maybe superbowl 61 is pinnacle.

  9. I can tell you right now that if Sam Darnold wins a playoff game, the Vikings may seriously consider paying him. If he wins TWO PLAYOFF GAMES, we will for sure pay him at least 3yrs, mark my words

  10. Talk all you want, but Darnold won't be a Viking next year. See: Case Keenum who took the Vikings NFC championship game. McCarthy, for better or worse, is the future QB.

  11. You guys are looking at it wrong. A lot of Sam’s success is because of KOC and the coaching more so than Sam magically flipping a switch and becoming a good QB. It’s much more preferable for the Vikings to stay cheap at the position and take advantage of JJ’s huge upside being coached by one of the best QB whisperers in KO.

  12. What the Vikings challenge is is that because their GM did an amazing job playing moneyball in the off-season chemistry can become an issue with all those new players. Ultimately, we're watching the Vikings meld together. That's why Minnesota wins all these tight games. People are very short sighted because they always want the glamorous show dog wins and not the gritty tough wins. Detroit is honestly slowing down and they are coming to the end of their schedule that's a tough one. Minnesota can win in the post season. Personally, I like the Eagles and the Vikings more than the Lions.

  13. Here is what no one is talking about. Sam Darnold is still Sam Darnold. You take him out of the easiest org for a qb and he goes back to seeing ghosts. The most qb friendly coach, the best wide receiver core in the game and before injury a great o-line. This offense could make my grandma look like a good option at qb.

  14. Warren was brought in to deal with the stadium. He wanted to fire Flus last year. Poles wanted to keep him so he let Poles keep him. Guess what Warren was correct

  15. Sam will lose 5 of the next 8 games then proceed to lose his first playoff game. He makes too many mistakes under pressure especially if he must score. Ever noticed that he plays poorly in the second half of a game?

  16. They have half the total of onside kicks this year in the NFL….they gave up the first one in Chicago….great experience. Detroit and Minnasota have history so a playoff match is deep…be third meeting…

  17. Vikings was down TJ and Blake Cashman, the one that makes the defense go. Both this team are heavyweights in the league. NfC has three, Lions, Vikings, and Eagles

  18. Vikings went toe to toe with the Lions and gave em hell. They could knock Lions out of the playoffs. We've seen great teams get knocked out of the playoffs before. Its any given Sunday.
