Kirk Cousins is one of the best play action passers in the NFL. So of course it took the Falcons until the bye to realize they should run it more.

  1. Well great, at least they are willing to adapt and make changes even if it’s slower than we’d like. That’s refreshing.

  2. I hope something gets them moving back in the right direction. I’m not ready for a fourth consecutive 7-10 season.

  3. Idk why but I have infinitely more faith in Zac Robinson than Jimmy Lake. I have a feeling Zac will end up being a good OC. But I also thought we should have kept Sark even before we knew what a terrible replacement they picked. I would rather give an OC a year or two because they need time to install their system and get comfortable. However, our defense is top to bottom ass. It can’t all be blamed on the players. Too many other teams have players come off the bench and get pressure.

  4. This is good and all, but I couldn’t care less about the offense. Yeah, they stall out at times, but I trust them a hell of a lot more than our D.

I need to know what adjustments we’re making on defense to prevent teams from dog walking us up and down the field with ease.

  5. Every single first down should have defenses guessing on if it’s a run or play action. Our offensive line struggles on obvious passing downs. And so does Kirk. No idea why Zac Robinson hasn’t experimented with this more.

  6. I like seeing personal responsibility from pro coaches. Falcons are healthy on Sunday, we will beat the chargers.

  7. I don’t like to be a “Negative Nancy,” but c’mon. Morris has never had success anywhere he has been.

He blows. Until he is fired, just relax and watch the dumpster fire. Maybe you can roast some hotdogs over it.

If the Falcons make the playoffs, we are one and done. Book it.

  8. And to tell everyone they are going to start doing it. I’m sure our upcoming opponents appreciate the advanced notice. “Hey you know that thing you never see us doing when you scout us. We’re going to start doing it now”

  9. If you read between the lines Kirk has mentioned this being an issue in some of his interviews but said part of melding with a new OC is finding a middle ground and not always going with the gameplan you might personally prefer.

  10. This is cool and all, but the change I really wanna see is defensively. Are they going to implement more complex play or just continue to sit back and let teams do whatever for 75% of the game.
