The Lakers need a center that can defend and rebound and put less stress on AD. If you pull AD out the paint, it’s a layup line. Plus the Lakers are terrible at rebounding. A good rebounding center can swing the rebounding favor to the lakers and eliminate offensive rebounding and add more offensive rebounding to their side. It can also help with perimeter defense and transition basket.
I like Kessler but AD has blocked Jokic a lot of times as well
