  1. Hi Wardy. By mentioning the Carlos Correa situation last year when you had undisclosed advanced info, is there a hint that you may also have advanced information about Juan Soto's offer from the Mets?? I wonder!

  2. What I like about solo dog is this his bat b a t is outstanding he is for power but his defense is below League average especially in right field so I wouldn't overpay I want them but I wouldn't do it the best spot for him would be DH

  3. Matter of fact no one has averaged more hormones and pee in RBIs that's why I said they need to resign him but like I told you and peace defense is getting better and he's a full-time All-Star

  4. But not only with Pete I say this a lot of the players are uppercutting the ball on the midstate that's how you strike out just try to make contact if you hit the ball right particularly on a fastball it's going to go out the parking way let's try to get base since you don't have to be up there trying to get lunch and go home runs

  5. I don't think he will sign with the Mets unless of course he does. Hope for the best, expect the worst. I will not be disappointed if he signs elsewhere, but excited if he signs here. Sanity. Keep your Sanity. He's one guy. He can help you win, but it doesn't guarantee you will.

  6. Just dont want to wait and lose out on other top free agents. Also we need to make moves and move some top assets to help fill other important areas of need, Pitching on top of more Pitching.

  7. I hope I'm wrong I don't think he's going to sign with us I think one of these other teams are going to offer more I think the Red Sox need somebody and they're going to go crazy

  9. I just feel Cohen is obsessed with Soto and it's gonna mess everything up. Too worried about Soto when we literally need a whole new pitching line up on top of some bullpen. In a few years this clown is gonna be throwing billion dollar offers at whoever.

  10. If we get Soto, which I'm still not convinced will happen, and if we lose Pete, we have to get Christian Walker for 1st. He may not have Pete's HR power, although he's no slouch in that department at all, but he's a good hitter and a Gold Glove first baseman. I'm a lifetime Mets fan but I think Soto will stay a Yankee.

  11. No its not justified. Soto is very good perhaps great but too 1 dimensional. Its great that he doesn't strike out much. I would not pay more for him than Ohtani. Spread the money around–Buy all 3 pitchers that are Free agents. Keep Pete for a little discount—add Adames and other hitters….Pitching!!!

I challenge this besides Ohtani–name a player who signed a major contract and the next year(s) did better than their previous year(s) especially their FA year they are uber focused?

Also, Soto has a ring already—hence is a Mercenary! How hungry for another Ring? He should go to Boston and shatter records.

  12. A couple of weeks away… my initial prediction was & is Tuesday 12/10/2024 Soto will be a Met… This looks good to me!

    Lindor (SS)
    Vientos (3B)
    Soto (RF)
    Alonso (1B)
    Nimmo (LF)
    … plenty of $$$ for SP & Bullpen+

  13. Picture this, Mets fans: Vientos, Soto, and Alonso batting 3-4-5. A pitcher's nightmare! But there's a catch: that's three slow runners clogging the bases. Steve Cohen is going all-out for Soto, but the lineup needs balance too. ..
