GOOD JOB AS ALWAYS Ryan LGM
Things against Snell: Walks were the Mets problem last year, he doesn’t pitch enough innings, he is older, prone to injury, hard to watch, expensive, wants a long contract AND most importantly we need an ace that can beat the Dodgers in the playoffs and the Dodgers don’t swing at balls – we need an ace that throws strikes.
What was our staffs main problem ? — Walks — Forget Snell —
I would love Snell as a 2nd or 3rd starter
Good Morning 🎉Ryan …. Trade for Crochet
The best fit is the healthiest one.
None
Saquan comment hurt….I am mad
I'd take Snell over Fried – no qualifying offer, and Snell's been better in the postseason than Fried.
None of the above trade for Crochet!
There is only one "ace" in that list…Corbin Burnes..Snell walks to many batters, he's a 5 innings pitcher..And Fried is a risk to get hurt , especially in a long contract…
Snells best seasons are all on walk years. The guys a bum when hes not pitching for his job STAY AWAY
None
Blake Snell at all costs. No QO is worth a lot of money if you want to think of it like that. 11Ks per 9 is disgusting. Plus, he'll allow Senga to slide into his much more natural #2 spot.
Starting pitching is so overrated now. Mets made it 2 games short with patched staff with no #1.. Dodgers won world series with basically 3 starters and won what 3 games in playoffs / series with bullpen games.. Most games now are won / lost from 6th inning on anyway…And of course the high paid Starters always get hurt especially with Mets…Go get couple med- High end starters, trade for Montgomery ( giving up all but nothing )go from there..
Just trade for Crochet and trade for Luis Castillo
Snell is All or Nothing.
Fried is who I want bc he's the most consistent, innings are there, but it Changes on an hourly basis…lol. like Walker 1 yr deal low risk/high reward. Some comparable pitchers out there.
I still think the bullpen might be more important than starters. You want an ace, but Mets need TWO former closrs. 1 or 2 reliable MLB setup pitchers. Hopefully, Nunez is back for the whole season. Garret can be a workhorse. I think that if Sterns wants. Add Megill to the role that Buto can do. 2 or 3 innings every 4th day/openers. Stack them up & be creative. Then add from the bargain bin & find 1 or 2 diamonds in the rough.
Two of them, the most reliable two, money is not a issue, right?
David. Stearns. Please. Fire. Pitching. Coach. Mets give up 2. Many. Walks !.
Max. Fried & Corbin. BurnsR. Past Prime, Injury. Prone,
I like. None, 2. Old. Injiry. Prone, Inconsistant
One isn't enough we two out of the three
Boras is Satan!!!!
Please get Corbin Burnes Uncle Steve
And Roki!???!
To me Burns is the #1 choice , we need an Ace that attack the strike zone and be effective. Dodgers have hitters with good pitching recognition. They know the strike zone , Snell is useless and wants long contract to secure good money no matter he rocks or suck !
