13. I don’t think it’s correct what you say that the most desperate team will be the one that signs Juan Soto. Where is the logic there? whoever signs, Juan Soto will be the one that can pay him what he wants and will be the team who can give him what he wants. The thing that nobody knows not you or I nor any of the Talking Heads or YouTube commentators is, what does Soto really think? you can’t know the unknowable: what happens to us after death who will sign Juan Soto? Essentially the same level of interest in those questions.

14. i believe steve cohen has $21B , john henry $6B , hal $1.5B. seems to me the mets and the red sux can get whoever they want and there's not much hal can do about it. the mets want to overthrow the yankees for the top spot in n.y and the red sux are forever pissed off because of babe ruth. i sure would love for hal to pull this off but there's reason to worry.
