[Jay Morrison] Bengals, who are higher on the waiver order than the Eagles did not put in a claim. Harris is 29 and has 19.5 career sacks, including 3 this season, more than any Bengals player not named Trey Hendrickson.

  1. If we’re this unserious about improving then just fucking tank. Too cheap for a corner, won’t claim people we should claim. Fuck it.

  2. Just another reason this franchise is a joke. How can you be content with anyone outside of Trey on the dline?

  3. I can see us not wanting the contract of another elite edge rusher but why didn’t we try to sign the CB Aykaleb Evans?

  4. This team doesn’t deserve a dime of any of our money. This team doesn’t deserve our eyeballs to be glued to the tv….

    See y’all Sunday…

  5. The fact you guys are freaking out because we didn’t claim a below average edge that has averaged 2.5 sacks a year over his career is embarrassing.

  6. Fuck it I’m just here rooting for Joe and Jamarr to put up big numbers every week and get all pro nods since winning isn’t a priority

  7. Got to give Jay Morrison credit for writing this kind of stuff. He has been around a long time and it’s good to see

  8. Giving our first round pick (with all-time tier athleticism) more of a chance to show whether or not we can cut Hubbard and have a more productive solution for cheap for the next 2 years or more is not a mistake.

Murphy has more qb hurries per passing snap played than Trey Hendrickson himself. We always have to balance short term and long term. This year’s short term opportunity, at this point, is too slim to justify signing a guy with no upside and sacrificing what we can learn from getting Murphy and our rookie DTs on the field more.
