Coach Tomlin made a promise to Russ that he would start plain and simple, stop acting like this is not true, thats the only reason why he forced Russ into the starting lineup when he had a QB who was 4-2 and had a great red zone percentage. 31. Looking at this closer. J Fields's win are more impressive. 4 wins against playoff teams. Russell has only 2 and he almost gave the 1 game away. Hoping he plays well against those hungry Bengles but I'm not hopeful. The next 6 games could go either way.

32. What I saw was 3 quarters and 6 points from Russ. Fields goes in and leads the first scoring drive. I was fine with the third down pass from Fields because Russ had THREE QUARTERS to do something and he failed. Of course Russ finally scores after a turnover in the opponents half, seems to be the only thing that keeps him relevant. He plays the bengals next, Russ has to get multiple TD's
