5. Reduce the weekend down two days and treat it more like a convention. You can get rid of the All-Star game (we don't need to waste our time or the players' time) and simply treat the days as a celebration for the fans that involve all the All -Star Players. Still introduce the players like usual. Bring in musical performances, have events, games, contests, interactions with the players, podcasts, etc… Invite vendors for shoes, clothing, cards. Host in 1v1, 2v2 tournaments, bring back streetballers and actual dunkers. Bring out the influencers. One big all star convention.

13. Good idea to do USA vs Europe or USA vs the World. Stephen A is right that those outside the US will likely care more about winning the game and this will force the US players to play harder in order not to be embarrassed on their home court.

Honestly, at this point, I think there’s a couple of reason why the All-Star game is no longer competitive and I just believe that first off a lot of the teams in the east have a lot of scrub teams with bad gms that Don’t know how to build rosters and don’t know how to hire head coaches, and I also think the players are making way too much money especially when they’re injured. I think the only thing that should make money not guaranteed is injury because you could say whatever you want there’s no reason why Jared Vanderbilt is making the money that he’s making while being for two years is absolutely ridiculous. He’s not an all-star. He’s not anything you have to be somebody in able to claim that status of being able to be injured.

23. i think the best way is the captains include thier own money plus money prize to each player on the team cause nothing makes these players play harder than when theres a reward on the line especially a financial reward. the captains should put in ther own money so they also have something to lose itll make them motivate their teams

46. here is what u do. u have the allstars right? well u get a bunch of nba guys who are the runner up allstars if u could pick someone else, basically the 2nd string. put them against the allstars in a game and winner of the allstar game are actually the allstars for that year. meaning u better not be putting 2024 allstar on ur bargaining chip for contract renegotiation if u lose to the 2nd string.
