2. Didn’t some DC candidates choose to go elsewhere before Bowen was picked? Now who’d voluntarily come here after Wink was run out of town and his successor is fired after 1 season? What with organizational disfunction and Dabs’ volatile personality, the Giants may well be the employer of last resort.

7. I don't understand it. The Giants are not trying to build a team. They're trying to plug holes with band-aids. You have to build a team starting with a solid foundation. 0-Line, D-Line, linebackers, safeties, corners. Then you bring in a solid RB and TE. And along with those things you need depth at thoes positions.After you have all those things then you draft your QB and get him some receivers.

8. Maybe Belichick is better at turning late round draft picks like Tom Brady into franchise QBs, but not 1st round QBs?

9. The Giants will name Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores to the same position once Shane Bowen is let go after their dreadful 100th season.

11. Bowen needs to have opportunity to stop run. If he can figure stipping the run out our D will be fine. Giants D line not good enough to stop run without better help from ILB.
    Belichick is terrible GM. He ruined the Patriots after Brady left.

12. I don't want Belichick at this point, he's too old and actually without Tom Brady he was pretty average, actually below average. Found an article by CBS that "Belichick was just 47-57 with the Patriots without Brady (.452). He went 219-64 with Brady (.774) during that same span. In the four years post-Brady, the Patriots went 29-38 (.433) with one playoff appearance and zero AFC East titles."

13. 48 year season ticket owner x4 lower level since I was 17 years old. I was very lucky to get my season tickets 48 years ago, Giants Stadium and the Giants had been completely sold out since 1956 and it was rumored there was a 25 year waiting list to get tickets. 78,000 strong every week.
    Now Metlife is no longer sold out. The upper deck is filled with empty seats, the ridiculously expensive club seating empty, the Met life parking lots, once difficult to get in and out of, look like a shopping mall going out if business, weekly complete sections of the stadium filled with fans from the opposition teams.
    John Mara and Steve Tish have broken the will of the most loyal of loyalist.
    At one time my Giants fellow tickets family numbering 20 , some of them that have had season seats since the Polo Grounds in their families have all quit. I am the last of the Mohegans.

    My children now adults , dont want to go to games, my friends dont want to go to games , I cant sell My Giants tickets for 20 cents on a dollar on the offical Giants ticketmaster resale site.

    Attending Giants games are no longer exciting or enjoyable, and have not been for a decade now.

    Sadly, I sold two of my PSLs yesterday , and my Giants seat neighbor is trying to do the same, My seat neighbor has had those seats in his family since Yankee Stadium.

14. If Daboll if the HC next season with a new QB then he has to get 2026 as well. Not fair to mess with the new QB by giving him new HC so soon. Otherwise dump Daboll now

    There have been reports that Joe has been at several Colorado games, but he might be there just to see Hunter. I know he’s boom or bust, but I kinda like Milroe And his arm, talent and athletic upside where do you stand?

19. PT I think you make some really good points when it comes to Bill Belichick, but my question you would be how many teams have been banging at the door to get Bill Belichick? I think there’s a reason why he hasn’t been hired yet. He tried to get the Atlanta job. I think he probably knows it. The Giants are one of the few teams left that respect his résumé and respect what he brings to the table like I said I think they hired Joe Judge purely because Bill Belichick liked him So clearly, there is still a giant Bill Belichick type connection. Now I’m not a huge fan of Bill Belichick. I don’t like really how he treats the media, etc. and I definitely don’t like the whole cheating sandals either but I do think it’s a little harsh to say that he didn’t develop Mac Jones who is pretty much a secondary quarterback prospect similar to Daniel Jones. He just wasn’t a top-tier quarterback talent to begin with.

    I think a Bill Belichick and Joe Collab could work as long as Bill Belichick isn’t making personnel decisions anymore. That would be the key because he clearly is not a fantastic drafter at all.

20. Problem is, everytime anyone gave Schoen their opinion on Hardknocks, he ignored it. And now it looks like they were right, and he was wrong. 🧹🏠

21. If we get rid of Joe. I’d like Brandon to get a shot. I wouldn’t want Bill for a coach. I remember he was on the verge of being fired then Brady got in the game because of Bledsoe got injured. The team was turning against Bill. Brady came in & became a leader. Right now Daboll doesn’t have an offensive leader.

26. Mac Jones was solid his first year with Josh McDaniel as the offensive coordinator. After that they had oc with no experience until Macs last year. Bill as the coach and Josh as the oc.

27. Patricia, I’ve commented before and all I will say is you are dead on how to build your team. Been a fan since I was 7, back in 1960. So I’ve seen a lot of the downside. Back then when Parcells was questioned on how to build your Offense..he said, I build from my O line out, tight end, who was more revelant back then. Then I draft my QB. Mara hired his buddy Gettleman, Giants did that a lot in the 60’s. How good were those teams. What braindead GM drafts Barkley and Jones with no semblance of an O line. Lastly if they bring in Belichick, who you know I am partial to, he brings organizational skills, and he would control everything. That solves the John Mara problem. John is not Wellington. Wellington had structure. 1979, brings in George Young. The rest we all know. To those who think Bill is too old…Coughlin was no spring chicken

    I disagree on D. Middle is a little soft. Nacho is so so. Okereke is non existent this year. They have talent…no doubt. Anytime, you have talent and play this bad, it’s on the coaching and management. Offense, they need depth on the O line. I don’t mean a Hubbard. Ezeudu is gone. So we have Neal and Bubbard doing this thing. You saw the results with DeVito vs. Tampa. They need a Tackle, and a STUD GUARD. Agreed on Bowen and Okereke. Non existent. Daboll and Schoen need to go now. Look at their coordinator choices. Nobody wanted to come here. Daboll is call plays. O coordinator is a disaster. Maybe after some experience Daboll and Schoen will become better at their respective Lastly, I hope you are not going to insist that Brady made Belichick. Did Brady structure that entire organization…NO!!! He came in and flourished in Belichick’s organization. Mac Jones, a lot of behind the scenes going on. Ownership and he.

29. Jack Del Rio for Defensive coach? I think Daboll is a good coach but the players I feel don't want to play for him and I fear he created a communication problem and a toxic work environment.. I don't know. If they lose bad tomorrow I feel it's move on time.

31. The Giants were high on Mike Kafka as an offensive coordinator at one time. Wasn’t that the reason the Giants promoted him to Assistant HC to make it difficult for other teams to laterally hire him away from the Giants as an offensive coordinator?
