This week, I am doing something different. Instead of the typical tavern-style pizza, i'm making a Thanksgiving inspired Detroit-style pizza for the special day.

The pizza starts out by topping a par baked dough with a layer of gravy followed by a blend of shredded brick cheese, roasted turkey, green bean casserole, and cornbread stuffing. After a quick bake, the pizza is finished with whipped garlic mashed potatoes, more gravy, and cranberry sauce.

I mean, this is basically the best Thanksgiving plate in pizza form, and the iconic crispy cheese frico you get from Detroit Style Pizza just takes this to another level.

I love my Chicago tavern style, but Detroit pizza is awesome. Hopefully, Caleb don't get shitpumped and give us something to be thankful for, but no matter if they win or lose, at least the pizza was good 🤷‍♂️

I think the result looks/sounds gross, but the process of you making it was enjoyable and it looks like it was all made very well… Just the mix of bread, cheese, gravy, cranberry, and like 4 other things sounds awful to me. I also don’t really like Thanksgiving food in general so that could be it haha. Enjoyable video though man, Happy Thanksgiving!
