Did you stretch before you posted this? Cause this seems like quite the reach
He’s a diamond in the rough forsure. I remember watching him when he played on the Brooks Bandits (Makar’s former junior team) and he was unbelievable. Looks like he he could potentially play for us in a couple years
It was Gaudreau’s absolutely monstrous junior year that separated him from the pack, the only player to put up an 80-point season in the past two decades in college hockey.
Early season stats are sometimes padded by weak nonconference competition (Penn State in particular has had a reputation for this) so…let’s just say he’s on track to possibly be on track…
He started out strong last season as well then tapered off dramatically. I would like to see him continue to succeed, ofc, but we’ll have to keep being patient for now.
Would be a much needed success story
Is Fink the one they drafted with the trade to give Poile his last pick ever? Because it would be hilarious for a random pick that was a surprise to Poile to turn out to be an amazing homegrown forward.
