Aiden Fink looking a lot like Johnny Hockey did at this point in his development – could be the steal of the draft

  1. He’s a diamond in the rough forsure. I remember watching him when he played on the Brooks Bandits (Makar’s former junior team) and he was unbelievable. Looks like he he could potentially play for us in a couple years

  2. It was Gaudreau’s absolutely monstrous junior year that separated him from the pack, the only player to put up an 80-point season in the past two decades in college hockey.

Early season stats are sometimes padded by weak nonconference competition (Penn State in particular has had a reputation for this) so…let’s just say he’s on track to possibly be on track…

  3. He started out strong last season as well then tapered off dramatically. I would like to see him continue to succeed, ofc, but we’ll have to keep being patient for now.

  4. Is Fink the one they drafted with the trade to give Poile his last pick ever? Because it would be hilarious for a random pick that was a surprise to Poile to turn out to be an amazing homegrown forward.
