  2. he is the last remaining connection to any success for this team I get people wanting him….but his last years were terrible and he basically ignored the offense.This would be like the Rangers bringing back Messier. nice bit of feel good nostalgia but did not translate to any actual winning

  3. The issue is that he's been out of the league for so long, I don't think he will adapt to how new offenses are working today quickly enough to retain his job for a second season. I mean, Josh Allen would put 40 points on his 2010 defense twice. Tua, the same, and probably second year Drake Maye would too.

  6. Jets need a coach that can make this team respectable and nasty ,the jets haven't been tough since he left ,just bring in someone who knows how to run a offense that was his issue here the last time ,but if anyone can make the jets respectable is rex , bring him back

  13. i would love for them to hire rex but if aaron and davante comes back next year i think they end up hiring mike mccarthy when the cowboys fire him it just makes to much sense if its a one more year thing for them to hire somebody that aaron and davante already know inside and out

  15. Name someone who actually wants the job more than Rex. You can't! Some guys might consider it. Many wouldn't want it no matter what with the mess the team is, how meddling the owner is. None of that phases Rex. Rex is the guy!

    His current, he's doing an incredible job with Washington right now. They're playing great football. They're definitely making the playoffs. Brian Flores is a big part of that. He was also turning around the Miami. Dolphins before Miami decided to get rid of the poor man so now It is time to get him to the New York Jets. Give him full autonomy and let that man run the team. His way, they will improve give that man time without a doubt.

  18. Yes, keep Rex as an option, but let's see what else we have out there. I don't think a reputable head coach who won the superbowl or gotten to the playoffs is gonna want to come here. A first time head coach again never works out for us. So keep Rex as an option.

  19. Thanks, Rex, for 2 good years, but no, thank you. You had 2 top 10 defenses in 8 years, and you needed Revis in his prime. The other 6 years were 20, 20, 24, 19, 16, 15.
