  1. As if our QB situation isn't A++ as it is"" to think that we"ll have nearly 100 MILLION DOLLARS IN CAP SPACE once all the dead money falls off in 2025!!! INSANE & definitely gives me very high hopes for 2025 being a vikings SUPER BOWL YEAR!!!! SKOL.

  2. As a Giants fan here, and Daniel Jones supporter, this hurts my soul 😭 Daniel Jones NEVER got the support and help he needed to succeed. You guys will get a hard worker behind Darnold and McCarthy.

  3. This is what makes Kevin O’Connell great seeing something in others that nobody else sees, Godspeed Mr . Kevin O’Connell. May God bless an give you the wisdom and knowledge and the rest of your staff to raise that Lombardi trophy, and for Minnesota Vikings fans everywhere.

  4. As much as I think Darnold is a stud and doesn’t need the extra pressure I think this is a solid team move by KOC.

Jones could light a fire under Sam. Steele sharpens Steele.

Protects them and McCarthy next year if Sam goes away or uses Daniel in contract negotiations.

If Sam does go away it gives McCarthy more time and doesn’t need to start the season if they’re not ready.

Also love it or hate it the fanbase would be more excited for a Daniel Jones start over Nick Mullens if JJ does need more time.

  5. Bud was the wizard of defense with the purple people eaters k o is the quarter back whisperer of the offense love both guys for how they work their magic by the way I went to all four super bowls with the purple gang win or lose still prows to be a true Vikings fan

  6. Last year, we found out what happens when you dont have a starting caliber QB. And everybodys sphincter tightened up when Darnold went out last weekend for a couple plays. Now we're in a better position should anything happen to Sammy. At 9-2 you dont want to mess around. We're primed for a championship run. Theres no reason the Vikings cant take it this year. We finally have Addison, Jefferson, Hockensen and Jones all on the field. If Nailor steps up, we're deadly on offense.
The defense seems to have fallen off a couple steps as if late. But I have no doubt that when it comes down to it, the D will stiffen up and rise to the occasion.

  7. Kinda feels strange how much koc and kwesi pick up players that wanna come here and play, free agents, trades ect, not something were used to but it's cool to see so much movement when it past years are team mostly picked up players over the hill and let the good ones go, I think this is how it feels to have a young coach and gm and an owner that lets them do there jobs they hired them for.

  8. Our coach is amazing & still, such a breath of fresh air from our previous regime. Welcome DJ.
    One Love & Happy Thanksgiving.
    ✌💀💜💛🏈

  9. As a Vikings fan, I feel good about this move and it's nice to have some insurance in the post-season. DJ will probably be QB2 by the time the playoffs start. Keeping him on the practice team for now still allows him to sign with another team if a starting spot suddenly becomes available on a playoff contender. KOC will have Dimes caught up on the offense over the next few weeks and if he has to step into a playoff game, he's not going to be overwhelmed by the moment and he does have talent. He's got good feet, a good arm, he was liked in the locker room (the Giants players reportedly did not like DJ being benched), he'll have multiple premium receivers, a solid line, a top ten defense, arguably the best QB coach in the NFL and he's won a playoff game before. No guarantees of, course, but I would feel more comfortable with Dimes in that spot than Nick Mullins, and I have nothing at all against Nick Mullins. He's good in spots. He knows the offense. He came in for one play against the Bears on a 3rd and 13 and he nailed the pass. I just don't have a huge amount of faith that he would be able to go on a sustained run for multiple games, although if anyone could whisper him through it, KOC could.

  10. so did we add DJ to bench Sam? nothing but disrespect for sam at this point…… hope we play well this weekend but at the same time i wouldnt be happy if i was sam so i guess we will see.

  11. The last time the Vikings got a quarterback from the New York Giants, although he started his career with Minnesota traded to the Giants, but came back home and Took the Vikings to three Super Bowls, I’m talking about the legendary Fran Talkington, hope with Jones, the tradition can continue but please Win a few Super Bowls for us, senior citizen, Viking fan,
