[Meirov] Think about this: This is the third consecutive time the Bears have drafted a QB high in the draft, brought him in with an obvious lame-duck head coach, and then fired that coach.

  1. “Lame-duck” being the key term. If you’re comparing Daboll to Eberfluss or Nagy, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

  2. I mean this is pure revisionist history isn’t it? Who viewed Eberflus as an “obvious lame duck” this offseason?

  3. While i’d love to pile on the bears because they make us look better, this time it was a little different for them. Anyone would’ve picked Caleb. It’s not like any potential head coach is gonna be upset theyre stuck with him, in contrast to, say, Fields, who was of some polarizing opinions

  4. Or, and here’s a crazy thought. We keep Daboll and Schoen, draft a franchise QB and start winning.

People act like this isn’t a possible outcome as well.

  5. I don’t want Daboll and Schoen to go. But, if you’re going to draft a QB, you need to give Daboll and Schoen 2 years at least with this QB.

  6. Caleb Williams has to start all over now this is why Giants need to fire Schoen and Daboll

Nothing good will come out of it should schoen stay, he has failed this team

  7. But were gonna try it evidently because old cenile mara feels bad not giving Schoen as much time as he gave gettleman. As if that should have any bearing on the defense.

  8. People saying we should keep Daboll and Schoen and let them *draft a new QB and stay for 2 more years after the teams they built went 8 and fucking 22(!!!)* should participate in psychological studies for Stockholm Syndrome

  9. Everyone knew they should have fired Eberflus last season for this exact reason. Waste of a season
