Cowboys injury news is positive on DeMarcus Lawrence. Jerry Jones says it’s “more than likely” the Cowboys get DeMarcus Lawrence back vs. the Bengals. However, it’s some bad Cowboys news on Tyler Guyton, who suffered a high-ankle sprain and will likely miss time. So will it be Chuma Edoga and Tyler Smith or Tyler Smith & TJ Bass on the left side of the offensive line?
The Cowboys have won two straight games and that’s great for the players, coaching staff and locker room. But the way they’ve won these games should really not inspire confidence. The offense is averaging 14 points per game with Cooper Rush and haven’t gotten more than 20, even factoring in the points off short fields and turnovers. The defense is playing very well, but the offense really isn’t.

As much as I want a high draft pick, young players stepping up & learning how to win is valuable. If this team went out & quit these past two weeks, we would have an even bigger problem.

I’m loving watching Overshown become a superstar. If they will build the defense around Micah, Overshown and Bland, this defense could be a top 5 unit again, maybe by next season.

8-8 is the record I predicted and everyone said I was crazy. Remember what the record was with Dak. I actually think they are doing better with Rush. Dak is not earning the money he gets. Jerry has dementia or something cause what he is doing with Dak is just amazingly dumb.
I would like to see Dallas play well… improve… but lose the games!, i know that sounds crazy but i don't think they can sweep the last five games to possibly make the playoffs…that stated the difference between a top 10 pk and a top 20 could be huge. Looking from a business point of view…..It looks like the smart move. P.S….Tom, lose the chain and star, makes you look like a MO!

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if McCarthy is back next year simply because of all the injuries this team had specially if they win last 5 games. I still think he needs to go but if he stays he needs a real OC to call plays because his play calling is atrocious
