Broken Rangers must waste no time for change after Philadelphia fallout

  1. Brooks nailed. Seems like Drury’s moves lost the team. Which is bullshit, because they’re all adult men who are paid millions to play a kid’s game.

Such a hateable bunch of fucking losers, aside from a handful.

  2. Listen I don’t particularly like Brooks, he’s kinda a douche who thinks he’s always right but I will say the media has been very easy on the team as of late and im glad someone is calling them out atleast

  3. I’m not a Brooks fan but he’s spot on here. This team’s veteran core is as soft as babyshit and it all goes back to Trouba. He’s the least deserving captain who’s ever been given the responsibility/honor of wearing that letter. If he doesn’t want to approve a trade, healthy scratch him until he does.

  4. I think the question should be do we wait to unload players at the deadline or just say fuck it and do it now. Do you try and fill in pieces and keep Igor and maybe lose or trade Igor now to get max return. I think it we drop out of the playoffs you definitely say F it and do it now.

  5. Saw a post today on NYR insider about them hearing offers for Krieder. Anyone know if this is valid?

  6. >I was wrong about Trouba. I had thought his bond with his teammates would exceed his distaste for the hierarchy. But, and likely subconsciously, Trouba has become a pedestrian, which is something no one would ever have said before.

I completely understand hating your boss, I’ve been there before. But you still put in the work for the guy next to you, so that you’re not making their life miserable too. If Trouba is unwilling to play for his teammates, then he does not belong on this team. At this point, waive him if you need to. But if that’s the attitude he’s going to bring to your locker room, then you cannot have him around the rest of the team.

  7. The demise of this team was obvious on the west coast trip. Getting completely dominated but being bailed out by the goalie, it was clear the forwards especially stopped playing. No checks, just lazy stick checks which continues. Non-competitive against bad teams. Looks like they quit on the coach, although the team lacked physicality beforehand. Something is happening behind the scenes to cause dissension and lack of effort. A new coach and roster is needed, we are as bad at hockey as the Giants are at football.

  8. >[Trouba] performed an olé while ushering Travis Konecny to the net for the 2-0 goal that would have made Roger Dorn from “Major League” blush.
