They are going to need to run the ball at least 50 times in this game to have a chance to win. There better be a whole lot of Mason (15-20 touches), Gerendo (8-10 touches), and CMC (20-25 touches), Brock about 5 scramble touches) or else we will lose this game. If Kyle gets out of his own way and spreads the ball around to these 3 players about this many times then we stand a good chance of winning. If Kyle gets in his own way and fucks it up like he normally does, then we will lose. Brock can hand the ball off the entire game for all I care. We don't need to get into a shootout between Brock and Allen, and if we start throwing the ball all over the field in the snowy conditions we are going to lose. Shanahan is his own worst enemy.

Saying that Purdy is better than Allen in his career is pure lunacy. Stats are the scientific way to sell a lie. Even Lynch wouldn’t flinch for a second if he had to choose between Allen and Purdy
Purdy isn’t as good as people think. He’s just an anomaly, but it will catch up to him. You’ll see.
The Purdy duel with Allen might be interesting, but it won't be. Purdy will be running, dodging and ducking as the Bills D-line and LBs storm the Kylestil. At some point, he will reinjure his shoulder. Someone will tackle him hard in the backfield or, as he scampers around edge and dives headfirst for a few inches more. He wants to be a leader and motivate by example. I think he is tough and gutsy. However, that's a formula for disaster where half his offensive teammates are also hurt or newly promoted. When I was young, being compared to a dog wasn't a compliment. "Dogging it" suggested lazy or not putting much into it (whatever the project). Frankly, I think that more than a few 49ers have dogged it, as the team misfires and free-agency and a new team loom as possibilities after two more months.

I have no doubt that Purdy can "outduel" Allen, the problem is that Allen has an actual staff to lead right now where Purdy is a lone hero against a legion.
