Morey has an absurd talent for finding washed vets. This guy is awful, I might be concussed from the ricochet off an Eric Gordon brick but I swear he’s even worse than Trez, Millsap, Dedmon etc
Hi might be the worst “vet” I’ve ever see in my life. And we had PJ Tucker on this team at his most washed.
This signing didn’t make sense this summer and it sure as hell doesn’t make any more sense now. I get the market for free agents wasn’t “ideal”, but he is just not good at all.

We signed the guy to shoot 3s and all he does is put his head down and try to drive it to the rim, ending up getting blocked or throwing up the most hideous shot you’ve ever seen. If Nurse is set on playing him I’d rather have him just take 3s even if it’s only going in 1 out of every 4 attempts.

He’s mostly taking rushed bad shots. I’ll give up on him if he gets some time with Embiid and PG when they get healthy, and keeps missing.

Morey does seem to have a blind spot for guys he’s heard of before. Watching preseason you immediately saw that Gordon was slow, unathletic and couldn’t shoot. Sort of like another Lowry. It makes you wonder what people who make these decisions are really looking at since it seems incomprehensible that this guy is in the league.
