  10. This was his last shot at claiming some kind of progress. With buffalo X2 and the chargers on the last 3 weeks, his only hope now is to beat the Cardinals and say he at least matched last season’s record, which is a bad thing, but it will get some people defending him.

  12. I dont think I can watch another game this year. That was more heartbreaking than the girl i lost my virginity to breaking up with me in highschool. Covington and Mayo cant close games out defensively.

  13. I was angry tonight. On one hand you have an entertaining game, but we are running out of excuses. They don’t get a pass because it’s an inexperienced staff. The penalties. We can’t win games because of the amount of penalties. CEO style head coach – wtf was that about not challenging that drop. He’s not calling plays he should be seeing things like that. To lose in that manner is gut wrenching. I care man, and I’m finding it hard watching this loser team.

    Dude tried to make Chuks Okorafor our left tackle and drafted Polk at 35 overall, and now he’s on witness protection never to be found again. 

    The worst part is that they will predictably blame everything on Bill once again, our senile owner will believe it, and nothing will fundamentally change.

  19. I swear Mayo is apart of a marketing scheme by Kraft. The whole Kraft/Mayo connection is just too on the nose.

  20. It sucks because I love Mayo the player, and I don’t want to see him being absolutely shat on. Especially because I’m sure that’s very hard on his family as well, and I feel like most of us are familiar with his daughter through the videos she used to make. But at the same time, this is just not working. I don’t really want to humiliate the guy, but Kraft really should have held interviews, not just gone with someone he already knew for completely non-football reasons.

  23. Unpopular opinion: I didn’t hate watching that game. It was, at least, entertaining. Mayo hasn’t showed us anything, and the penalties are INEXCUSABLE, but I don’t hate watching them.

  25. This guy fuckin sucks and we did not get better by allowing him to coach Maye. Feel bad for him, but Kraft is such a shortsighted jackass for moving on from a guy that won you 6 super bowls and was able to take friggin Mac Jones to the playoffs lol

  32. He’s the worst. No creativity or killer instinct in play calling off the Gonzo pick when our offense was playing well. Basically played to run clock with six minutes left and just give the ball back

  36. Thunder buddy will be our head coach next year too. Bob Rob and the Mister Krafts are too prideful and too cheap to pay two head coaches at once.

  37. They had to try to lose that game. Think there will be any being held accountable for being that undisciplined, that situationally stupid? Of course not. This guy has no command of the team at all. Too bad the one guy with the ability to fix it, Robert, has too much at stake pride-wise to consider such a solution.

  38. I literally didn’t see him do a thing. Every time the camera showed him he was just watching the game. Not talking to anyone in person or the headset

  39. I’m tired of the media members (Tom Curran, Phil Perry, The Kraft-employed Patriots Unfiltered crew, among others) and ungrateful, clueless Pats fans who rejoiced when Belichick was fired by Bobby and John-Boy carrying Mayo’s water and blaming their record mostly on their roster).

    They have lost so many close/winnable games due to poor coaching (play-calling and in-game decisions). What looked like a very difficult schedule prior to the start of the season has turned out to be one of the easiest this far, based upon the combined record of their opponents.

    If the Pats had the Chiefs, Broncos, Steelers, Rams, Viking or Lions coaching staffs (just to name a few of the best), this is a 6-7 team right now, with the potential to be 7-6.

    (I didn’t want to risk triggering the Belichick-haters by bringing up Bill’s elite game plans and in-game decisions compared to Jerod The Clueless)

  42. Demote him back to a DC or LB coach. I wasn’t high on him to begin with. Love him as a player and coach, but not a head coach.

  46. Yea, I’m rooting for the pick, and I’m not sure that’s a non flag by design….although that is giving Mayo a lot of credit there.
