23. Yes they are terrible in the cold. How do we fix this though? Like functionally what do we do? Lease out a practice facility for the year in a cold place instead of going home ever? 27. Miami will never be able to win these cold weather games on the road in December and January. It's a physicalogical thing. All hot weather players bodies are acclimated to warm weather they don't have any brown fat cells that convert in cold weather. All the cold weather teams do. If you think Im crazy look up brown fat cells that are 33% more insulating than white fat cells. The only way they are going to do well in playoffs is to have a 10-2 record going into the really cold games. Good luck with that. Tua killed this season with the dumb head first play against Bills. They would probably be 8-3 right now maybe better if not for that.

AT Cleveland and AT the Jets … you literally just said they can't win in cold weather. SAS said it (and I can't stand that guy), hell EVERYbody is saying it, because we ALL know it to be true. Not to mention, Houston is 8-5 and leading the AFC South by 2 games, while the rest of that division is under .500. Going in to Houston, in that atmosphere, we are not winning that game either. Rodgers had a decent game today, and it looks like they might be figuring things out, aanndd their defense has potential to be really good.

    I'm saying 1-4 down this stretch, with the lone win next week with the Jets still trying to figure out what they want to do with their coaching staff. And I believe we BARELY win that game, 27-24'ish (holding off a last minute drive by Rodgers). Houston will throw it everywhere against our weak ass secondary (sorry, Ramsey has lost his coverage skills, he WILL get beat several times) and they, like everyone else, will run everywhere on us, particularly with Stroud being as mobile as he is and we typically cannot stop a running QB (see Kyler Murray). SF and Shanahan have McDaniel's # on lock, they will trounce us if Purdy is healthy and ready. Cleveland is hurting like we are … BUT .. they can run the ball, it WILL be a cold weather game, they have a (semi) mobile QB who can make plays against a weak secondary .. I look for us to lose that game. And the Jets, in NY, on a cold January day .. "fuhget about it."

    6-11 on the season. We will be picking somewhere between 8 and 14 in the draft. Which is a good thing, granted we still don't have a dipshit GM calling the shots because typically, particularly over the last 10 seasons, most draft picks between 7 and 15 have turned out to be really good players. But knowing how Miami is with this HC and GM … we will fuck it up and draft a position we really don't need or pick the worst player of the bunch. Something stupid, as is the usual.

    I love my Dolphins, always will. But I'm in the same boat as Fireman Ed (famous Jets fan); something has GOT to change with this team for us to turn the page and be successful. And I honestly think it needs to start with Stephen Ross selling the team. He has done absolutely nothing good with, or for, this team. It's time for a complete overhaul, and it needs to start with the ownership.

They're so busy building a team around Tua, the aren't building a team that can beat the division in cold weather. 95% of their roster is from warm weather teams or colleges, and Tua's the only QB in the league that will stand on the 2 yard line and look to throw to someone.
