The Kikuchi, Montas, and Boyd deals are looking pretty good for a team like the Twins who are not looking to add depth starters and who are probably going to trade away a number 4 or 5 guy in Paddack for salary relief.
If a back of the rotation starter with a long injury history will cost $15+ mil on a multi-year deal in this FA market then we shouldn’t have a problem moving Paddack’s whole $7.5 mil salary and probably getting a bit of value in return
