Ok
I’d like to see the statistic with goals allowed.
We have the second most cups (tied) during that period of time too though!
Somewhere Terrence Murray sits wearing his pajamas nodding his head in approval.
I mean, rules changed and a lot of teams are playing a different style of hockey nowadays. While it’d be obviously better if we scored more, the identity of the Kings was, and in some ways, still is defense first.
Utah, nice.
Every goal we score is precious lol. That’s how I look at it…
For stats like this I’d also love to see Phoenix’s numbers, so I can combine that with Utah and figure out where they’d be, I could see them having less goals than us.
“It’s a 3-2 league.”
Defense wins championships!!
Throwback to the days the Kings would outshoot a team 50-18 and lose 2-1 in overtime like seven times a year. Those 2010s teams were CORSI Gods
And Chicago is 5th lowest. Yet we both won two Stanley Cups in the time frame mentioned. It’s almost as if defense wins Cups.
