Houston, Texas, was ranked the dirtiest city in America due to poor air quality, infrastructure issues, and cockroach infestations. Dirty from the top down.

  1. When I went downtown in Houston it was my first experience of seeing people poop and pee on the streets. Beautiful experience

I do live in a small town though

  2. Hard to keep clean when there’s a massive piece of human shit running around in a football helmet.

  3. I travel all across the country for work. Most cities are pretty similar. Obviously New York, SF, LA, DC, Miami, a few others stand out are particularly impressive or fun. And then you have the Nashville, Austin, Charlotte, “up-and-coming” class of cities.

Occasionally you have cities stand out for the wrong reasons. Houston is one of these cities. You will never encounter a place for polluted, dirty, and swamp. It’s a shrine for the automobile, oil, and parking lots. There are some “nice” areas for people who have never been able to live in LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, or any other large city. Has anyone ever said “let’s go to Houston for vacation!” or willfully spent more than a week there? Luckily for Houston, it actually does have civilization, which is more than most people expect when they visit.

Jacksonville may not be the most impressive place but its beaches are clean, and it has fresh air. I’d fucking hate to live in Houston. Dallas sucks too, but at least it isn’t a swamp.

  4. “Cockroach infestation”is a funny way of describing the Texans’ lease at NRG Stadium.

  5. I’ve spent a lot of time in both Jax and Houston and this is much more of a Spider-Man pointing at himself situation than anyone here is willing to admit.

  6. Yeah I’ve been there. The people look like crackheads and the city itself looks like a porta potty. Not a surprise
