San Antonio Spurs forward-center Victor Wembanyama and Atlanta Hawks guard Dyson Daniels have been named the Kia NBA Western and Eastern Conference Defensive Players of the Month, respectively, for games played in October/November, becoming the first recipients of the new award.

  3. So is there still a player of the month? Or is it split into offensive and defensive players of the month?

  4. Dyson is everything we hoped Murray would be. We’re not even shooting the ball well right now, but the defense has kept us afloat. Once chemistry builds and shots start dropping we might have a chance to make it into playoffs without the play-in! I’ve watched sports long enough to know things can change fast and injuries happen, but they got me believing in this team right now!

  5. It’s nice Dyson gets his props since DPOY isn’t likely. He’s the hardest working defender in the league.
