[Morosi] NEWS: Infielder Hyeseong Kim is expected to be posted by the Kiwoom Heroes of KBO around noon ET Wednesday. Thus begins a 30-day window for Kim to sign with an MLB team this offseason.

Even though with a joke that we can chant HSK again with Hye Seong Kim, i dont think that this will be really necessary to current Padres roster. He wont be good enough to be SS at MLB level and most likely 2nd base – and we still have X Cronn Arraez and Wade to start with. Love to have another Korean player for my Padres, but i dont know.
Outfield, pitching, and catching is the priority, we have enough infielders
Give him number 7 and keep doing the three syllable chant at the ballpark and half the fans wouldn’t even know it’s a different player haha
Pretty sure there is a rule that we can only have one player with the same initials…
Pass. He seems like a serviceable infielder but we are already loaded there (X ain’t going anywhere no matter how badly y’all want him to). We have other needs that greatly outweigh this like catcher and pitching
Seen him a few times at Gocheok Stadium while he was on the Kiwoom Heroes last year. Very talented and a great addition if we sign him
Imagine he gets a deal w some team yet will need at least a season in the minors to see if he can even cut it in MLB. If cheap then maybe it’s worth a gamble for some clubs.
The Padres are in our window now. We need added pieces that can seriously contribute to getting us a WC slot again next season.
Have you seen his KBO stats? Not super impressive too be honest. At least HSK had an over .900 OPS and power in the KBO which eventually sort of translated in the MLB
Save our money for Juan Sodeau.
